A Blast From The Past, Christmas Scene.

Good evening, Followers, Friends and Visitors,

How are you all, we are fine up here in the hills, just a bit chilly,   quite a cold wind.   We have already had a couple of frosty mornings lol!!    Winter is definitely on its way!     I thought I would share a card I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts   way back in July 2008.   The stamp I have used, is sadly no longer available, which is such a shame, as it is such a pretty design, one of my favourites at that time.   I have incorparated a style stone in my design, something I really enjoy using.   Well, time to get started.

Make a base card by folding an A4 piece of white card in half, portrait style.   Using a Midnight Blue Stazon ink pad, stamp three trees across the centre of the card.   Punch out three snowflakes from the top and bottom of the card, evenly spaced.   Glue the punched out snowflakes in between the already punched out snowflakes on the top and bottom of the card and pop a small blob of Crystal ice glitter glue in the centres of the snowflakes.

Stamp the Christmas scene onto to piece pf spare white card with the midnight blue ink pad.   When dry, colour with the 3 Colorbox Chalk ink pads, Blush rose, French blue and Blue iris.    Matt this onto some navy paper,  then onto some peachy/pink paper, then finally onto more navy paper,   leaving a narrow border showing each time.  Make the last border narrower than the rest.    Glue this panel to the centre of the base card.

Glue four white punched out snowflakes to each corner of the panel.   Glue some narrow peach ribbon above and below the the panel across the card, from left to right.   Add a bow to the centre of the bottom ribbon.

Take the style stone and cover the top surface with white the pigment ink and heat emboss, using white embossing powder.   Stamp part of the large Winter scene stamp onto it using the midnight blue Stazon pad.   Colour the edges of the style stone with the midnight blue ink.

When dry, glue the stone to the original stamped image, aligning up the picture on the stone with the picture on the stamped image.   Add small amounts of ink from the Colorbox chalk ink pads, to match the main image.

Add a little glitter glue and highlight parts of the picture, using a white gel pen.   Lastly, fold a piece of navy A4 paper in half, portrait style, trimmed slightly smaller than the card and fix to the inside of the card as an insert.   When the card is closed, the navy paper should show behind the punched out snowflakes.

That's all from me folks, see you all again soon.   Hope you all have a peaceful, relaxing Sunday.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
