'Hello Friend, ' thank you card.

 Hi there Lovelies,

Hope you have all settled into the New Year well, it is now back to the routines of life lol!    My first card of 2023 was actually made in July 2022.   For this card I have used the  A4 stamp set which was given free some time ago, with the 'Creative Stamper' magazine and was called 'Versa Tiles' patchwork set - 26 pieces.   So many different designs can be made using this set.   I have made two cards using this set,  which are on my previous blog posts.   Hope you like this one.

Fold the two short edges of an A4 white card together and trim away about half an inch from the bottom of the card, making it seven and three quarter inches by two and a quarter inches, (portrait style.)

Cut a piece of black card seven and three quarter inches by two and a quarter inches and glue it to the folded edge of the white base card.

Using a black ink pad, stamp 'Hello Friend' near the top of the card (centralising it on the white part of the base card)  and 'Thank you so very much' to the bottom of the card.    Using the rusty brown ink pad  stamp the 'shell' square from the stamp set, 7 times onto some white paper.

Using the cactus green ink pad and the 'daisy square stamp, stamp it once onto some white paper.   Cut out all 8 squares evenly.

Fold each one of the squares in half, then in half again.   Open up the square, ( the wrong side uppermost) and take the 2 bottom corners to the centre of the fold, then fold down the 2 top corners, then fold again into a triangle shape and glue together, so you have a neat, flat triangle.

Fix these down the folded edge of the base card.   Fold the green flower square in the same way and glue that onto the black card.

Using the flower square,  stamp it  6 times, using a black ink pad.     Then, cut out 9 large daisies and 5 small daisies.   Colour 6 large daisies with the amethyst Promarker alcohol pen and 3 with the orange brush marker pen.   Cut out 5 small daisies and colour with the mint green Promarker pen.

Add some  gold liquid jewellery to the centre of each of the  flowers.

Glue 3 large flowers onto the folded squares and the rest on the white base card,

Glue a green bow above the group of flowers and glue 3 gems to the top left of the white card and 3 gems  to the bottom right.   That is this card now finished.   Below are some close up photos.

Thank you for visiting my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.   I will be back again soon with another card to share with you.   Until then please take good care of yourselves and stay safe and  well.
