'Cherish Every Day.'

Hi there Lovelies, thank you for visiting my previous blog post, very much appreciated.    Hoping this blog post finds you all well and safe.   The weather has been dull and wet here, not too much rain I'm pleased to say.    My heart goes out those who are flooded at the moment, that must be so distressing and to those who are caught up in the wild fires.

Today I would like to share a card I have made using  a Woodware stamp set that I have had for many years and a Tattered Lace corner die set which was from 2013,  a set of 4 corners dies but unfortunately I have lost the 4th. die, which was my favourite of the set.   Never mind, they are all nice.     I have coloured the images with Pearly paints.

Die-cut 4 corners from black card and glue one in each corner of  a 7" x 7" ready made peachy pearl coloured base card,

Stamp the flower images onto some white card using the Versamark embossing pad and then heat emboss with gold embossing powder, using a craft heat gun.   Stamp the image once more onto some white card and heat emboss as previously.

Paint both images with the pearly paints, brush and water.    Die-cut the first image using a large circle die.

Cut out some of the  leaves, buds and flowers from the second stamping.   Fix these to the original stamped image on the white circle, using sticky foam pads or silicone glue.

Cut out a slightly larger circle from black card and fix to the centre of the pink base card.   (I used the outer edge of the same metal circle die and drew around it, then cut it out by hand, this makes it slightly larger than the white die-cut circle).

Fix the white circle with the flowers on, to the black circle on the pink base card.

Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of white card, using the black Versafine ink pad.   Die-cut this using one of the set of Spellbinder's label dies.   Using a blending tool, gently add a little black ink around the edges of the label.   Fix this to the right of the circle using sticky foam pads.   The card is now finished.

Below are a few more close up photos.

That's all from me for the moment.   Hope you enjoy your visit.   Take good care of yourselves and stay safe.    Catch you all again soon.
