Pansy Pyramage
Good evening All,
Hope you have all had a good day. My card today was made some time ago for Imagination Crafts,
using their beautiful Pansy Decoupage stamp. As you can see, I decided to make a pyramage card
using this stamp, which can be purchased from the Imagination Crafts website.
The base card is made from cream card which I coloured around the edges with distress ink. Next
I stamped the leaf stamp around the edges using a black inkpad..
I cut out a smaller nestie from yellow patterned paper and then, using the same die, I traced around
the outside edge of the die onto some black card and cut it out. Mat the yellow paper onto the black card
and mat onto the base card. I then cut out a smaller nestie using the lilac spotted paper and matted this
onro the yellow paper. Put a piece of lilac ribbon across the centre and add a bow at both ends of the ribbon.
Stamp the main pansy image seven times with black ink onto some white card. Colour them all with some
Promarker pens. Trim around the edges of the first image. Mat onto some black card and trim leaving
a tiny border of black showing.
Cut the other six images using a set of square nesties, each image getting progressively smaller, until you end
up with a tiny square on top of the image. 3d all of these images to make a pyramage using sticky foam pads.
Fix this to the centre of the base card with double sided sticky tape. Phew !! that's it finished folks, hope
you like it. It takes quite a bit of time and patience but I think the end result is worth it. Take care of
yourselves until next time.
Happy crafting

Hi Mags, thanks for your lovely comment and I'm pleased my creation has inspired you to have a go at making your own pyramage. It is a little bit fiddly but the satisfaction of having made your own is a great feeling. Have a good weekend.
