Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,
Hope you have all had a good week and are looking forward to the weekend whatever you have planned. I have a crafting weekend in mind lol! I have samples to make for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel on the 16th. August 2016, so not a lot of time to prepare lol! so I think some music, my crafty space and great Imagination Craft's products to work with sounds just the thing for me this weekend, our gorgeous grandson is away, so I will have some peace and quiet, having said that, we are missing having him around lol! he is such good company now he is getting older, plus he keeps us on our toes lol!! no time to lounge around when he is here lol!
Well onto tonight's card. I made this in December 2015 and I have used the Perfectly Clear Stamp Range, called 'Happy Birthday Flower,' designed by Lisa B for Imagination Crafts. I have also used the gorgeous Starlight paints.
Begin by folding the white scalloped card in half, making an 8"x8" base card on which to work. Mask off the centre of the stencil, so as not to get any ink on the centre circle. Lay the stencil onto a piece of white card and dab the distress inks through the design. Remove stencil and leave to dry.
Water down a small amount of the Antique Gold and Orange Oxidised Starlight paints and paint small amounts on top of the distress inks, the gold on the yellow distress ink and the orange on the Victorian velvet ink. This gives a very subtle sparkly effect and looks very pretty. Trim this card down and matt onto a slightly larger piece of black card, then onto a piece of yellow, then once again onto some black card, each time making the matt slightly larger than the previous. Add a piece of gold ribbon across the centre of the stencilled card and secure on the reverse of the card with sticky tape.
Die-cut a corner using the Tattered Lace die from black card and glue to the top right corner. Die cut a label from white card, using the Spellbinder's die, then stamp 'Just For You' on the centre, using a black ink pad. Colour around the edges with the black ink using a piece of cut n'dry foam.
Punch out 5 small flowers and colour with the gold Starlight paint and glue to the label. Glue the label to the right-hand side of the card, on top of the ribbon.
Stamp 3 large and 3 small open flowers from the stamp set, using a black ink pad. Colour them with the Orange Starlight paint, adding a touch of red paint.
Cut them out and arrange them around the left-hand side of the circle, using silicone glue to add some dimension to the card.
The card is now finished, this stamp set has quite a few stamps in it and is a useful set to have in your crafty stash. Many thanks for stopping by my blog, I do like to hear your feedback, hope you've enjoyed tonight's visit. Enjoy your weekend and I will be back again soon.
Love and Rainbows,
