Proud as a Peacock.

Well here we are again heading towards yet another weekend lol!  these weeks seem to fly by at an enormous rate of knots!   I don't think the weather will be as good as last weekend was, ah! well, we can't have perfect weather all the time lol.

The card I am sharing with you tonight was made in  September 2016.   I have used another of my very favourite Imagination Craft's stencils, 'peacocks.'

    
I have used a 7"x7" lilac pearlised base card on which to work.   Matt a square of navy blue paper onto the base card, leaving a border of the lilac base card showing.

Take a square of white card the same size as your navy matt, and colour it  with the Mixed Media Spray Inks and leave to dry.

  
Lay the peacock stencil on top of the coloured card and spread all three Sparkle Mediums over the stencil, using the metal spatula, then leave the image to dry.

   
Cut out the two peacocks and put to one side for the moment.   Using the left-over coloured card, cut it into a hillside shape.   Put the peacocks in the position you want on the navy paper, so their feet are hidden by the top of the hillside, leaving the place where their feet will be, unstuck.

Glue the peacocks in position using silicone glue, tucking their feet behind the hillside.

  
Add another small hillock, cut from the left-over coloured card and glue between the first hills, using silicone glue. 

   
Stamp the greeting onto white card,  using a Versamark pad. then heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Glue this to the top right corner.

Die-cut  four flowers from white card, using the Memory Box die and colour with the White Gold Starlight Paint.   Glue one  just below the greeting.

  
Glue the other three flowers in a group on the bottom left corner.   Add an aqua gem to each flower centre.
