The Wings of Time.

Hello Everyone,

Hope your holiday weekend is as good as you hoped it would be.   Did you manage to watch  our lovely Sue and Lisa from Imagination Crafts on the Hochanda One Day Special launch this evening?   Wow!  what a show, so many things sold out so quickly, I do hope Sue  and Harvey can magic more products up from somewhere for tomorrow's shows lol!    I can't say I'm surprised, the theme of 'Time' is very popular and the gorgeous MDF clocks are just beautiful to decorate, not to mention the fabulous stencils, Art stamps and rice papers.   O.K. on to tonight's card, I thought I would share my card which was shown on the programe tonight.   For this I have used one of the new  Art stamps designed by Lisa B - 'Take Time' stamp set.  Not only do you get the main image but there are so many little stamps too, love this set.

Take a square of white card, slightly smaller than the 7"x7" white base card.   Using a spatula or brayer, spread some cinnamon Sparkle Medium around all four edges (no need to cover the whole card, as only the edges will be on show!  waste not want not lol!)   When this is dry, matt it onto the white base card.

Take a smaller square of white card and draw a circle in the centre, using a pencil.   (This is just a guide and will not be seen.)

Using a black ink pad and the stamp from the 'Take Time' stamp set, stamp the image  around the outside of the circle.

Take the 'Time' stencil and mask off all but the pocket watch and the winder, then spread the cinnamon Sparkle Medium over the stencil, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil, wash it, then leave the image to dry.

Do the same with each wing and when dry, cut out the watch, winder and both wings, leaving a small black border around each.

Glue the watch and winder to the circle and tuck each wing just under each side of the watch.

Add some silicone glue under each wing to add some dimension to the card.

Glue a topaz coloured gem to each scroll on the stamped images around the watch.

Punch each corner using the Woodware corner punch and matt this onto the base card so the cinnamon Sparkle Medium shows through the corner design.   I use double sided sticky tape .....and
Imagination Craft's Magi-bond glue, as this glue is brilliant and helps stick the card to the Sparkle Medium better, plus this method does give you a little wriggle time lol!

Well that's it for tonight, I will be back soon with another project to share with you.   Thank you for visiting.   Please try to tune in to Hochanda tomorrow,    May 1st.         at 9am.  12pm.  4pm.  & 7pm.

                                                               Love and rainbows,

                                                                Hugs   Jennifer xx.
