Hi there my lovely Followers, Friends and Visitors,
Hope you've all had a great weekend, despite the dreary weather ! I've had a fairly quiet weekend, not much crafting done, most of it ended up in the waste basket lol! Hoping for better results tomorrow ! Tonight I'd like to share a Christmas card with you. I know lol! Christmas ! I hear you say, we've not had Summer yet !!! If you are a crafter, you will know, we crafters like to start making our Christmas cards early, get ahead of the game so to speak lol !! This card was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts latest T. V, show on Create & Craft earlier this week..
Fold the white card in half down the fold line, making a 7" x 7" square card. Cut a piece of red card slightly smaller than the base card and put it into the embossing folder and emboss. Remove from the folder and fix to the base card.
Lay the 'Holly Crescent' stencil onto a piece of patterned green paper amd spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.
Cut this into a large circle and glue to the base card. Cover all the berrise with the 'Fiery Red' Detail Sparkle.
Colour some white card with the red and the green Starlight Metallic paint. When dry, die - cut the poinsettia from the red and the pine branch from the green. 3D the poinsettia using silicone glue. Glue the poinsettia and pine branch to the bottom right of the base card.
Die - cut the stamen, one from green, (left over afte die-cutting the pine branch) and one from a piece of card, covered with gold shine Sparkle Medium. Glue these to the flower centre. Rub a little of the 'Inca Gold' Alchemy Wax over each flower petal.
That's all from me tonight Lovelies, see you all again soon. In the meantime have a good week. Thank you very much for visiting my blog, I do hope you may have gained a little inspiration fron my cards, I do love to receive your feedback.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
