Good evening Folks,
Hope you have had a good weekend, yet another week ahead of us. Time flies as they say lol! Tonight I would like to share a card I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, in March 2014. I have used their 'Flourishes' stencil which I love, it makes a beautiful background, a very useful stencil to have in your crafty stash.
Make a white base card. Take a smaller piece of white card and lay the stencil on top and dab Versamark through the design using a piece of cut n' dry foam. Remove the stencil and and heat emboss using silver embossing powder.
Place the stencil back on the image and off-set the stencil slightly to the right just a little. Dab the black soot distress ink through the design, creating a shadow effect. Remove the stencil and leave the ink to dry.
Rub the black soot distress ink around the edges of the card, using a blending tool or piece of cut n' dry foam. Matt this onto the base card, leaving a border of white card showing.
Using the crocus decoupage stamp set, stamp the main image onto white card five times, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.
Colour using the 'pearly paint palette' a brush and water. Cut out the image and glue it to the centre of the base card. Cut out the other images and 3D onto the main image, using silicone glue, slightly moulding the petals to look realistic.
That's the card finished. These stamp sets are just perfect for decoupage. Thank you so much for visiting and if you have left me a comment, thank you again, Take care of yourselves and I will be back soon.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
