Good morning Lovelies,
We had a good start to the week yesterday, it turned out to be a beautiful day, clear blue skies and beautiful sunshine. Today I have a card I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in June 2011 to share with you. I chose to use brown and peach for this card, a colour combination I really like.
Make a base card from light brown card stock, then cut a smaller piece of peach card, slightly smaller than the brown. Cut a smaller piece of dark brown card and, using the corner rounder punch, round off the top left and bottom right corners of the brown card. Using the Woodware corner punch, punch the top right and bottom left corners.
Stamp the flourishes in the top left and bottom right corners of the brown card, using a Versamark pad, then heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Stamp the sentiment in the top right just below the punched corner, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Stamp the flower oval with a brown ink pad. Cut out the inside edge of the oval and lay this on top of the peach card, then draw around the cut edge of the oval. Cut this oval from the peach card. Glue a peach ribbon across the front of the card, securing on the reverse. Matt the brown card onto the peach card, then lay this onto the base card and mark where the oval is on the base card, using a pencil. Stamp part of the flourish in the oval, using a Versamark pad and again, heat with gold embossing powder.
Matt the peach and dark brown card onto the base card, so the flourishes show through the oval aperture. Colour the Hibiscus flowers with a peach coloured Promarker pen. Colour the oval border and the flower centres with a gold pen. Stamp the flowers and the oval once more, colour as the previous image, then glue to the original image.
Add a ribbon bow to the right of the oval and glue a holographic butterfly just above the ribbon, on the right of the card.
Well that is all for now, see you all again soon. Have a wonderful Tuesday and I hope the sun shines on you all.
Love and rainbows,

This is gorgeous Jennifer. Love the colour combo and the embossing in gold. Hope you are keeping well. Returning to full time work has certainly given me less time for blogging.
