Rainbow Lily.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Well, life is back to normal again after the Bank Holiday.   Hope you all had a good time.   I would like to share a card with you tonight I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts.   The stamp I have used is one of their new Art Stamps, the Lily.   I just love this stamp, it is such an elegant design and would be very appropriate  for a sympathy card.   I  have used Imagination's new Mixed Media Inks for this card.

I used a 7"x7" ready creased  white card for this design.    Matt a grey card onto the white base card, then blue onto the grey and then lavender onto the blue, leaving small borders of the previous matts showing.

Colour a piece of white card with the spray inks, Fuchsia, yellow & blue.   If I remember rightly, I think I sprayed a little gold mica powder, mixed with a little water on  top of the colours, using a spritzer,  to give a slight golden sheen to the image.

Stamp the lily image onto the coloured card, using a well used black ink pad (this gives a more subtle look to the image, allowing some of the colours to shine through, giving a slightly 'shabby' look to it.)

Trim this down, then matt onto a larger square of metallic gold card and then onto some blue card.   Fix this to the centre of the lilac card.

Stamp 'Best Wishes' at the bottom, using a black ink pad.   Glue three gemstones to the top right and a blue organza ribbon bow to the top left of the card.

Well that's it finished, I do hope you like it.   Thank you for visiting my blog and please feel free to leave me a comment,   I would love to hear what you think, I read each and every one and I will  in return, visit your blog too.   I will back back in a day or so with another creation.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                             Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
