Bird of Paradise Card.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

I'm back again with another card to share with you   .    This is card no. 5 for my friend's MacMillan Nurses coffee morning in a few days time.    Such a worthy cause.      I have used a free set of stamps, called Art Nouveau by Jennifer Ellory,  which was  given free with the Cardmaking and Papercrafts magazine.   I have to apologise for a tiny piece of gilding flake which was on the card when I photographed it and I did not see it.   I no longer have the card, so cannnot take another photo.

Fold the ready creased white scalloped card down the centre line, making a 6" x 6" base card.   Using the corner stamp from the set, stamp it in each of the four corners, using a black ink pad.     Below is the stamp set, a really lovely set and I have only used 2 of these stamps for this card.

Stamp the main bird image in black onto a piece of green card.   Trim around this and matt onto a slightly larger piece of black card.

Highlight parts of the design using a white pen.   Then add some silver gold Starlight paint to the bird, leaves and hearts.   Matt this onto the centre of the base card.

Stamp the corner stamp leaves onto some green card, using a black ink pad and cut them out, then glue in position on the original stamped corners.

Lastly, add some gold Starlight paint to the flowers on each corner.

Thanks for visiting my blog, hope you have enjoyed your visit and have been inspired to take up this lovely hobby.    I will be back soon with another card.

                                                                Love and Rainbows,

                                                                  Hugs    Jennifer xx.
