Good evening Lovelies,
I thought I would share one of my encaustic art paintings. I'm sure most of you know what encaustic art is but for those of you who do not, it is painting with coloured waxes and a heated iron. The waxes are melted onto the iron, then you paint with the iron. It is a fascinating hobby, as no two projects are ever the same. If you make a mistake, you can just go over it with more wax again. The only thing to watch is, if you go over it too many times the colours tend to get muddy. I made this painting in the 1990's. I really must get my waxes out of the cupboard again and have a go.
Catch you all again very soon.
Love and rainbows,
Crafty Hugs xx.
