Here's hoping you are all well and happy, if not here's a ((( BIG HUG))) from me, hope that helps lol! Did my usual household chores and food shopping this morning, then had lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon in my craft room. I still haven't had a good tidy up !!! what am I like lol! I see photos of all your beautiful tidy craft rooms and I despair of mine!!! Never mind I can still find what I want and I do not want to spend precious crafting time tidying up !!! I am working on some samples for Sue and Harvey's next one day special shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel later this month. I cannot tell you what the products will be yet but suffice to say, there are some absolutely gorgeous new colours of Sparkle Medium!! Well onto tonight's card which I made for Sue in February this year and is made using their 'rose'. decoupage stamp set.
Fold the white scalloped card down the centre crease line, making a 6"x6" card on which to work. Stamp the main rose image from the stamp set onto some white card six times, using a Versamark pad. Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Keep one whole for the base. Paint the stamped image with the Cornflower and Agean Chalkies, then add small amounts of the Royal Satin Silky. Cut out and 3D the image. Glue to the centre of the white base card.
Take a piece of white linen card and put into the 'Round Gilt Frame' X-cut embossing folder and then run it through an embossing machine. Remove the card from the folder and colour with 'walnut stain' distress ink and a blending tool or a piece of cut 'n' dry foam.
Cut out the centre of the embossed card and glue to the white base card. The rose should now be showing through the cut out aperture.
Glue three blue pearls to the top left corner.
Die cut three roses, each a different size, from blue patterned paper, using the Sizzix die set. Dab the tops of the roses with a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Glue the roses to the bottom left of the base card and that is this card finished.
That's all from me for now my friends, catch you all again very soon so please pop back. Thank you so much for visiting my blog, I do hope you have found some inspiration for your card making.
Love and rainbows,
Happy Crafting! Hugs Jennifer xx.
