Blue Flowers for my Friend.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Sending (((hugs))) to those of you who are not feeling well at present, for whatever reason and I hope things improve for you very soon.
A bit cooler here today with intermittent sun and heavy rain showers.   I knew it would rain today, as it always does when I go to the hairdressers lol!   Had a cut and blow dry, it feels so much better, having had it cut , don't know why I left it so long to get a trim!    Well, onto tonight's card.   This was made for  Imagination  Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel at the end of May 2017.   For this card I have used gilding flakes, Sparkle Medium and Starlight paint.   The flower stamp, if  I remember rightly, was given free with a craft magazine, sorry cannot remember which one.

Lay the baroque stencil onto the white 7"x7" base card and using a piece  of cut 'n' dry foam, dab the gilding glue through the corner design, on the top right only.   Remove the stencil, then cover the glue with the gilding flakes, gently pressing the flakes onto the glue.   Brush away the excess flakes with a stencil brush.

Repeat the above in the bottom left corner.

Next lay the stencil in the top left corner and again, spread the glue over the inner part of the design only, remove the stencil and cover with the gilding flakes as before. Remove the excess flakes with the brush.

Lay the stencil back onto the bottom right corner and repeat the process again.   You should now have all four corners done with the gilding flakes.

Take some white card and stamp the flower seven times using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with Imagination's Detail gold  embossing powder.   Colour with well watered down blue Starlight paint.   Glue a pink gemstone in each flower centre.   Glue one flower in the top left and bottom right corners.

Colour a small piece of maroon card with the crushed strawberry Sparkle Medium, using the metal spatula or a brayer and leave to dry.   Next die-cut twelve small petals using the Sheena Douglas petal die set and glue together to form two flowers, (6 petals in each flower) and glue a pink gem to the centres.

Arrange two red and five blue flowers in the centre of the card, using silicone glue and Magi-bond glue.   Add some silicone glue under some of  the petals, adding a little more under the centre flower to raise it up slightly above the others.

Stamp the 'Hello friend' tag with Versamark and heat emboss with the gold embossing powder.   Glue this to the centre of the flowers.

Well that's all from me for tonight,  have a good Friday and I'll be back again very soon.   Have fun and be happy.

                                                            Love and rainbows,

                                                       Crafty Hugs    Jennifer xx.
