Meadow Butterfly Tag.

Hi there ny crafty Friends,

Thank you so much for your visits and lovely comments on my last blog,  I do love to hear just what you think about my creations and I do love to visit your blogs to see your beautiful creations too.   We have had a beautiful day here today, blue skies, fluffy clouds and  glorious sunshine, so different from the dull grey skies we have been having recently.  

Tonight I would like to share one of my tags, made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts in March this year.

      
Cut a large tag shape from the deep lavender card.   Cut a smaller tag from white card.   Die-cut the Lattice Flourish edge from white card, then glue to the back of the white tag.   Glue this to the larger lavender tag, so the die-cut shape protrudes on the left-hand side of the tag.

Cut another tag, smaller than the last one from white card and colour this with the Mixed Media Spray Inks, light blue, light purple and yellow.   When dry, lay the stencil on top and using the stencil brush, stipple the colours through the design, using the Canary yellow, passion flower, Island blue & misty green Starlight paints.   Remove the stencil, the Starlight paints will dry very quickly, so no need to wait.

   
Stamp the trio of dots stamp in a few places on the background, using s black ink pad.

   
Lay the stencil back on the tag shape but,  off - setting the stencil slightly.   Using a black pen, draw around the design and colour in the bodies of the butterflies.

   
Remove the stencil and add dots of Island Blue Starlight Paint to the wings of the butterflies.   Add some dots to the top of the die-cut.   Glue this to the base tag.

   
Colour some white ribbon with the  Scattered Straw, Seedless Preserves and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks and stamp the words 'Get Well Soon' using the Emerald Starlight Paint along the coloured ribbon.   Thread this through the two holes in the top of the tag.

   
Make a stand and glue to the back of the tag, so it can be stood up if wished.   Well that's this tag finished.   Hope you like it.   Take good care of yourselves my friends and I'll be back soon with another creation.
