Roses All the Way.

Good evening,  Followers, Friends and Visitors,

The weekend begins here,   How fast these weeks are going by !   Hope you've had a good one.   Time to relax now, weekend is here again.   Tonight I would like to share a card I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in March this year and uses one of their beautiful decoupage stamp sets, plus their beautiful vintage pearly palette paints.   I just love these paints as they have a touch of old gold in them, so beautiful and they seem to last forever lol!   Right! let's get  started shall we.

Make a white base card.   Take a smaller piece of white card and lay the flourishes stencil on top.   Using a piece of cut n' dry foam, dab some Versamark through the design on the stencil.   Remove the stencil and heat emboss using gold embossing powder.

    
Place the stencil back on top of the gold embossing and slightly off set the stencil to the right just a little and dab some black soot distress ink through the design, creating a shadow effect.   Remove the stencl and colour around the edges wuth the black soot distress ink.

    
Matt this onto the base card, leaving a border of the white card showing.   Stamp the rose image a total of eight times onto some white card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.

Colour the images with the  vintage pearly palette, water and paintbrush.

   
Cut out the main image and use this as the base for your rose.   Cut out  the others and 3D onto the base image, using silicone glue shaping the petals as you go.   Fix this main image to the centre of the base card.
