Good evening my Lovelies,
Firstly I'd like to welcome my newest Follower to my blog, Carol Bignall, welcome, I hope you enjoy your visits to my blog.
How are you all? well I hope. The weather continues to be warm and sunny here. One five minute shower of rain in many weeks, not enough to do any good in the gardens, so, I'm afraid it is out with the watering can for me again lol! Did housework this morning and spent the afternoon with my lovely friend and her little daughter and our Grandson, picking gooseberries and strawberries. Had a break and we had strawberries with toffee and vanilla ice cream .....yummy lol!! Well on to tonight's project, this card is one of my latest cards, hope you like it.
Make a base card from a piece of A4 purple card folded in half portrait style. Take a piece of white card slightly smaller than the purple and cut all four corners, using the Nellie's corner die.
Lay the Ivy Branch panel stencil onto the right-hand side of the white card and using the shaded lilac distress ink, colour the design using a piece of cut n' dry foam. Turn the stencil over and up the other way and lay onto the left-hand side of the white card and colour in the same way. Glue this to the base card.
Take the Bluebells patterned panel card and lay the woodland flower stencil onto it and spread the amethyst sparkle medium over the flowers only, using a metal spatula. Add small patches of the silver sparkle medium to parts of the flowers. Remove stencil and leave image to dry.
Replace the stencil back onto the card and spread the silver sparkle medium over the leaves and the stems Colour a piece of white card with the silver sparkle medium and leave it to dry.
Matt the patterned panel card onto some silver holographic mirror card and glue down the centre of the base card. Add a lilac flower to the bottom right of the patterned card.
Die-cut two butterflies using the Memory Box die from the silver sparkle-mediumed card and two from the purple card. Lay the purple butterflies on top of the silver ones and glue to the base card.
Well there we have it my friends, card finished. Hope you like it. Once again I would just like to say a big thank you to you for taking the time to visit my blog. If you gain just a little inspiration from my cards, I will be well happy lol! Take good care of yourselves and above all, be happy my friends. see you all in a couple of days.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs Jennifer xx
