In the Pink

Good afternoon Followers Friends and Visitors,

I've had a busy morning in our garden before this fabulous dry weather decides to change lol!  when the rain does come, it may forget to stop!    Must get all the outside jobs done before it does change.

I would like to share a card I have made for Imagination Craft's  Create and Craft show on TV on Friday 19th September at 2pm.   I used their 'birdsong' stencil, some gel medium and Inkadinks.   Hope you like it.

Begin by making a base card from pink card stock.   Onto this matt some maroon coloured card, cut slightly smaller than the pink.

   
Take another piece of white card the same size as the stencil, then lay the stencil on the card.   Mix a small amount of gel medium with a drop of 'Cherry Pie' Inkadink (one drop only is needed as these Inkadink colours are very strong and a little goes a long way lol!)  and mix well.   (By using the gel medium and Inkadinks,   this card can be made using  any colour you wish lol! )

  
                             When evenly mixed, spread across the stencil using the metal spatula.  

Carefully remove stencil and whilst the gel medium is still wet, sprinkle over some pink glitter.   Set aside to dry.

   
Trim the card to fit the maroon card, leaving a border of maroon showing and fix to the base card.   Add a pink bow to the top left corner.
