Good evening my lovely Followers, Friends and Visitors,
Well we are halfway through another weekend. Hope you are all having a relaxing time before the week begins all over again lol! I've had another busy day today, housework this morning, then lunch. A little crafting time making samples for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts, for their next Create and Craft T.V. show in a week or so. Must get them finished and in the post this Monday! The rest of the afternoon was spent picking the plums from our plum tree, the tree was loaded down with gorgeous plums, so it will be plum jam, plum crumble etc., for the next few weeks lol!
Well less chat more card making lol. Tonight's card was made for Sue and Harvey in October 2013. I decided to steer away from the usual Christmas colours and chose shades of blue. I know robins usually have a red breast and mine has a blue one, oh well it is a cold day on this card lol!
Make a base card from blue card stock. Take a slightly smaller piece of white card and matt a piece of dark blue paper onto the white, leaving a small border of white showing. Wrap some blue ribbon around the white and blue matts, securing on the back, then fix this to the blue base card.
Die-cut two Christmas trees using the Memory Box die, from white card and glue one to the top right and the other to the bottom left.
Stamp the main image onto some white card with a Versamark pad and heat emboss using some gold and blue embossing powders and whilst still hot, sprinkle some Imagination Craft's Glamour Dust over the image, small amounts will adhere to the hot embossing powder, which is what we want - not too much!
Colour the image with distress inks and water. Trim around the image and fix onto a piece of white card, just slightly larger than the main image. Glue this onto the centre of the base card, on top of the ribbon.
Add a blue ribbon bow to the top left of the main image and 3 blue pearls to the bottom right and 3 to the top left.
Well that is it finished. Hope you like it. Take care of yourselves and have a good week. I will be back on Monday morning with my mid month inspiration piece for the Imagination Challenge Blog, so see you all then.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
