Good evening Fellow Boggers,
Here I am again,
Sorry my post is a little late today, the day just seems to have flown by, so many things to do and places to be lol! anyway, I'm here now so we'll get started shall we! Tonight I have a Christmas card which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in July 2012 ready for the Christmas shows. This is made using a really lovely decoupage lantern stamp set.. I have used acetate for the glass in the lantern and the background was made using the fabulous Sparkle Medium and the Swirls Embossable stencil. Ok time to start crafting lol!
Make a base card from black card. Take some buff coloured paper and stamp the berries along the top and bottom edges, using a black ink pad. Matt this onto the black base card, leaving wider borders of black showing at the sides than at the top and bottom edges. Cut a piece of green paper and trim the top and bottom edges with decorative scissors.
Matt this onto the buff coloured paper leaving the berries showing at the top and bottom and no buff paper showing at the sides.
Take a piece of white card and lay the stencil on top. Spread the copper Sparkle Medium over it using the metal spatula and leave the image to dry.
When dry, matt onto a piece of black card. Wrap the green ribbon across the centre of the card and secure on the back of the card and matt this onto the green paper.
Take another piece of white card and using the black ink pad, stanp the lantern image five times. Colour with Promarker pens and cut out, keeping one image whole for the base. Add a piece of acetate behind one of the lantern images and 3D the lantern, holly and the left hand side panel, using silicone glue.
Matt this onto a square of white card, then onto a piece os shiny black card. Matt this on top of the
ribbon. Add a ribbon bow to the right hand side of the base card. Well that's it finished. I'm pleased to say all my Christmas cards are written and in the post. Hope you like this card, I'll be back again in a few days with another creation. Thank you so much for stopping by to visit my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit. Please pop back soon.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
