Steampunk Elegance

Good evening Followers,  Friends and Visitors,

Hope everyone is well.  To anyone who is feeling under the weather, for whatever reason, here are some  (((Hugs)))  for you.   We have only had a sprinkling of snow over the last few days but other parts of the country have had so...much more!  hope you are all managing to keep safe,  warm and snug.      Tonight I have a card to share with you I made for Imagination Crafts some time ago and uses their Cameo cog and Time and motion stencils.

I would like to welcome my newest follower of my blog, Swati, hope you enjoy your visits, thank you for following.

Make a base card from white card stock.  Onto this matt a slightly smaller piece of Imagination Craft's  black shiny card.   Put an oblong piece of white card through an embossing machine, along with the time and motion stencil and emboss.   Glue this to the centre of the black card.

Put another square of white card through an embossing machine along with the time and motion stencil.   (the white card slightly smaller than the black card.)   Using the Spellbinder's nestability, majestic elements, cut an aperture from the white stencilled card.    Put the cut out square aside for another project and use the leftover, outer card as a frame.   Glue this on top of the black card.

Take a piece of black card and the cameo cog stencil and put through an embossing machine.   Cut out the lady and some of the cogs.   Glue the cogs around the edge of the white card and add two strips of gold card, one to the top left and one to the bottom right.

Cut out more 'cog feathers' from her hat from white gold and black card.   Glue these to the back of her hat.   Fix the lady to the centre of the card, using silicone glue or sticky foam pads.

Cut a gold band and fix to her hat.   Cut out an earring from gold card and glue to her ear.   Use a piece of cog, cut from gold card for her necklace and her hat ornament.

Well that's it finished,   I am not into steampunk, so this card is not grunge steampunk but elegant steampunk lol!!  ha  ha  ha,    anyway I do hope you like it.   See you all again soon in 2015.   I would just like to wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity, health being the most important!   Have fun on New Year's Eve.

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                Crafty Hugs  Jennifer xx.
