Butterfly Time.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend has been a good one and the weather has been kind to you.   It has been wet, very windy and cold here most of the weekend, with the sun only appearing very briefly.   Well, the card I would like to share with you tonight, will hopefully remind us of warm, sunny days to come.   I made this card for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in February of this year.   I have used red for a change, which is not a colour I use often.    Hope you like it.

Make a base card from cream card.   Onto this matt a smaller piece of red card.    Take another piece of cream card and put through an embossing machine, along with Imagination Craft's  'Frilly Butterfly' stencil and emboss.   Remove from the embossing machine  and replace the stencil on the embossed card.   Usng a piece of cut n' dry foam, dab the distress inks through the design on the stencil.

Remove the stencil and trim all four edges with the trimmer and the scalloped blade.   Wrap some cream braid around the centre of the card and secure on the reverse of the card.   Matt this onto the base card.

Using red card and the Spellbinders  large butterfly circle  die, cut out a circle.   Put this aside for a future project and use the left over butterflies, after cutting and glue a small red butterfly in each corner of the base card.   Cut out the smaller circle from cream card and matt this onto a plain red circle.

Stamp 'Happy Birthday' on the centre of the cream circle using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Glue this to the left-hand side of the card, on top of the braid.

Colour a piece of cream card with distress inks and stamp  one large, one medium and two small butterflies onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Cut them out and fix to the card with silicone glue, lifting the wings slightly.   Punch out some small red circles and glue to the wings.

Well that's all from me for now my friends.   I have my creations on Pinterest now,  if you are interested, would love you to check out my board.    Have a fabulous week and I'll see you in a few days.

                                                                  Love and Rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs    Jennifer xx.
