Good evening again,
Hope I'm not boring you all with so many posts today lol!! This will be the last one for today you'll be pleased to hear lol! I have made this card for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts for their show tomorrow on Create and |Craft T.V. at 1pm. For this card I have used some Imagination Craft's gilding flakes.
Fold the white card in half down the crease line to make a 7"x7" square card. Onto this matt a piece of purple card, leaving a half inch border of the white showing.
Take the 'gathering thoughts' patterned card and cut out a round shape using Spellbinder's 'blossom two' die, third size up, into the bottom left corner of the patterned card. Matt this onto the purple card.
Next, using the Tonic border die, die-cut the border from the 'summer script' patterned card. Glue this to the centre of the base card.
Die-cut the butterflies from purple card and two using Sparkle Mediumed card (made by brayering Sparkle Medium onto a piece of card) and glue to the base card, except for the smallest butterfly. Add two flowers from the tree onto the wings using some lavender Sparkle Medium.
Lay the 'topiary flower' stencil onto a piece of lilac card and dab the gilding glue through the design on the stencil, using a piece of cut n' dry foam. Remove the stencil and cover with the 'frosty morning' gilding flakes. Brush away the excess flakes, (which can be used again.)
Trim around the edge of the design and fix to the right-hand edge of the base card, using sticky foam pads. Glue the smallest butterfly to the top of the plant pot. Add some Detail Sparkle to the dots on the topiary tree and glue a small purple ribbon bow to the top of the tree.
Lastly, add a piece of paper lace to the top of the plant pot. Well that's all from me for today. Hope you've enjoyed your visits to my blog. Please pop back again when I will have another 'sneaky peek' to share with you tomorrow and please don't forget to tune into Create and Craft at 1pm.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
