In the Blue.

Good evening  Peeps,

Hope you are all having a lovely holiday  weekend.   What a glorious day it has been here, blue skies and warm sunshine.   I did some weeding  today, too nice to be indoors lol!   Thanks to all who stopped by my blog, hope you enjoyed your visit.

Tonight I would like to share another card with you, which I made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts show on Create and Craft last Thursday.   You may have just caught a glimpse of it, as it was standing in front of the demonstration  table.   Hope you like it.

Fold your white card in half, down the crease line, to make  7"x7" square card.   Matt a piece of dark green card onto your base card, leaving a half inch border of white showing.

Take a smaller piece of white card and lay the 'vine leaf' stencil onto it and spread with the beautiful new 'Spearmint' Sparkle Medium, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

When dry, take some white ribbon and colour it using the 'blue brocade' Silkie and a paint brush.   Fix the
ribbon across the centre of the Sparkle Mediumed card and secure on the reverse of the card.   Matt this onto the base card.

Die-cut the flower using the Sizzix die, from a piece of white card painted with the 'blue brocade' Silkie and another from card covered with the 'spearmint' Sparkle Medium.   Layer up the flower and glue to the right-hand side of the ribbon, adding some silicone glue under the petals, to raise them up slightly.

Take a piece of white card, the size of the panel 'topiary tree' stencil.   Paint the stencil with 'blue brocade' then spritz it with water and lay the card on top of the wet stencil and smooth across it with the side of your hand or a brayer.   Remove the card and leave the image to dry.   Lay the stencil back on the image and spread the 'spearmint' Sparkle Medium over the leaves only.   Remove stencil and leave image to dry.

Once dry,  add more 'blue brocade' to the design to  create shape and shadows.   Add small amounts of the Sparkle Medium to the stem of the tree and the plant pot.

Add a ribbon bow, coloured with the 'blue brocade' Silkie.   Matt this image onto a piece of dark green card,

leaving a small border of green showing, then fix this to the base card and that is your card finished.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog, hope you've enjoyed your visit.   See you all again in three days time, when I will have another creastion for you.   Until then, stay safe , be happy and enjoy your Bank Holiday weekend.

                                                             Love and rainbows,.
