A Sneaky Peek at another project for the Hochanda T.V. Show.

Good evening Peeps,

What a beautiful day it has been, warm, sunny and  lovely blue skies.   I posted my parcel of samples off to Sue at Imagination Crafts,  ready for their debut  on the new craft channel, Hochanda on Thursday 10th September at 1pm and again at 5pm.   You can watch this via Sky 663,  Freeview 39,  Freesat 822 and on the Hochanda website  www.hochanda.com

Tonight I have a gorgeous new product which you will just love, they are really different, I have thoroughly enjoyed decorating these, not only are they pretty, they are also useful lol!   If you love sitting in the evenings by candle light, you'll love these, so atmospheric.     They will be available on the show on Thursday and they come as  a kit which just slots together.   Begin  by painting the two owls with the Peanut MDF paint, being careful not to paint the slots , or you may have difficulty slotting them together.

Leave these to dry.  (As the green paint covers very well,  there is no need to use an undercoat of MDF paint or Gesso.)

Paint the two solid sides with the green Starlight paint.   Colour the insides exactly the same as the outsides.

When the two solid sides are dry, lay  the right of the dusk til dawn stencil, ie:  the tree and owl, onto one of  the solid sides and spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over the design.

Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.     Wash and dry  the stencil  and lay the left of the stencil onto the other solid side, completing the picture ( ie; the moon, house and the end of the tree branch with the owl on it).

Spread the gold shine Sparkle Medium over the design using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Paint the bottom and the long edges with the antique gold Starlight paint.   Next we return ot the owls themselves !

Paint around the edges, eyes and  feathers on his breast with the antique gold pain painting the inside of the owls as well as the outsides.    Slot  all the parts together.     Finally, glue some gold gems around his eyes and add some to the feathers.

Below  are the  the finiahed sides of the  tea light.

Well that's it for now my friends, catch you all again tomorrow eveningt, when I will be back with another card to share with you.   Have a brilliant day tomorrow, enjoy the warm temperatures and the September  sunshine.   Thanks for stopping by to look at my blog.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

Happy Crafting,   Big hugs   Jennifer xx.
