A Christmas Gift Bag.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope you managed to watch Sue and Lisa from Imagination Crafts on the Hochanda T.V. Channel at 8pm. this evening.   Some great demos as usual and some fabulous new products.   The new Starlight Textile paints are just lush!  gorgeous rich colours and they don't bleed under the stencils and are so easy to apply.   I would like to share another decorated drawstring bag tonight.

Begin by ironing the bag flat until there are no creases in the material.  I then inserted a firm piece of card into the bag, so when I use the paints, they won't go through the material and onto the other side of the bag.   This also gives a nice flat, firm surface to work on.

Lay the Merry Christmas Tree Trio stencil onto the front of the bag, masking around the edges with some masking tape to hold it still whilst you are working.

Using a stencil brush, dab the Starlight Textiles paints through the design.   Remove the tape and stencil and repeat on the other side of the bag.

Colour around the edges of the bag with Inca Gold Alchemy Wax, using your finger, then using a stencil brush, dab some  white gold Starlight Textile paint on top of the Alchemy wax.   Repeat this on the other side of the bag.

Glue an organza ribbon bow to the centre tree, on both sides of the bag, using Magi-bond glue.   Glue some gems to each side of the centre tree, again on both sides of the bag.

Lastly, glue some gold braid along the bottom of the bag on both sides of the bag, using Magi-bond glue.

The products I used for this bag are below.

Well that's it finished.   Thank you for visiting my blog, I do hope you have enjoyed your visit.   I will be back again tomorrow with another creation made for the shows.   Please don't forget to tune in to Hochanda T.V. tomorrow at 9am.  12 noon.  4pm & 7pm to see more great demos.    See you tomorrow.

                                                                Love and rainbows,

                                                               Big Hugs    Jennifer xx.
