Ho Ho Ho! Santa's Sleigh Card - A 'Sneaky Peek.'

Good evening Friends,

How are you  all?   well I hope,  if not here's a big     (((HUG.))).   We've had a quiet Saturday at home doing just what we wanted lol!   not working to time for a change!   Tonight I would like to share a Christmas card with you all.   This was made for Imagination Craft's next shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel this coming Tuesday and Wednesday the 5th. & 6th. July 2016.    I have used one of their beautifully designed Art Stamps, Starlight paints and acetate.

Using a 7"x7" ready creased ivory card, cut a smaller square of white card and paint the edges with a paintbrush and the white gold Starlight paint.   (No need to paint all of the card, as only the edges will be seen, waste not, want not lol!!)     Matt this onto the ivory base card.

Next, take another piece of white card, again slightly smaller than the gold edged card.   Paint this, using a paint brush and the Sax Blue, Dark Orchid and a touch of the White Gold Starlight paints.   (If you want a more subtle blend of the colours, you could use a brayer.)

Cut out a large circle from a piece  of cream linen card and paint with the White gold Starlight paint, for the moon.

Glue the moon to the top right of your painted card.   (Use Imagination Craft's Magi-bond glue for this, as it sticks really well to the Starlight paint.)

Die-cut Ho Ho Ho! from black card, using the X-Cut alphabet die.   Glue these to the top half of the moon, again using Magi-bond glue.

Take a piece of acetate slightly larger than your blue painted card and using a Versamark pad, stamp Santa's sleigh onto it and heat emboss with black embossing powder.   Just a little tip - you must use heatproof acetate for this, otherwise the acetate will just buckle up.)

Stamp 'Happy Christmas' using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with Imagination's Detail Gold embossing powder, onto the bottom left of the acetate.   Fix this acetate panel to the blue background card, using Magi-bond glue, down the edges,  on the back of the blue card.

Next, glue this to the gold edged card on your base card.   That's it folks, card finished.    Please pop back tomorrow when I will have something a little different for you, using some fabulous new products.
Thanks for taking the time to take a look at my blog.   I do hope you may have gained some inspiration for your card making.    See you tomorrow.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                       Happy Crafting, Hugs   Jennifer xx.
