My Best Friend Card.

Tonight I thought I would share a card I made in October 2015.   Although this card does not use an Imagination Craft's stamp, I have coloured it with their  Starlight  paints.    I watered the paints down which gives a beautiful delicate look to the image. 

Make a 6"x6" base card from cream cardstock.   Cut a slightly smaller piece of light green card and using the EK Success corner punch, punch all 4 corners.   Cut a piece of pink card to fit inside the punched corners.

Using a black ink pad, stamp the flowers along the bottom edge of the pink card and the Happy Birthday along the top.

     

        
Next cut a smaller square of the green card, approximately 4"x4" and matt onto the pink.   Die-cut a scalloped circle from pink card and matt onto the centre of the green card.

   
Take some cream ribbon and colour with dots, in groups of 3, using the Menthol and Cyclamen Starlight paints.   When  dry, wrap around the card, then glue to the centre of the cream base card.  

                                
Take another piece of cream card and stamp the girl onto it, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.  

    
Colour the image, using watered down Starlight paints, adding dots of the pink and green Starlight paints to her dress.   Colour around the edges of the scalloped circle with a blending tool and the Bundled Sage Distress Ink.   Matt this onto the pink scalloped circle, using sticky foam pads.

Add a ribbon bow to the left of the circle and glue 5 tiny pink gems to each corner of the card.

   

     
Die-cut a leaf stem from gold mirror card and glue to the bottom left of the image.   Paint some white card with the Cyclamen paint, then punch out  4 cornflowers from it and 3D using silicone glue.   Glue this to the leaf stem.

    
Glue a pink heart button to the top right and some small punched  gold circles to the top right and some tiny circles to each flower centre.
