Beautiful Butterflies - a Sneaky Peek.

Hi there Friends, Followers and Visitors,

Just dropping by to say "hello,"  hope you are all having a good week and are enjoying the sunny weather we are having at the moment.

I would like to share a 'sneaky peek' at a card I have made for Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel tomorrow, Friday 2nd. June 2017.   My goodness, this year is just flying by at an enormous rate of knots lol!    I do hope you can tune in tomorro at  8am.  12pm.  & 4pm. GMT, as  our newest design team member, Mandy Jane will be a guest presenter.   This will be her first time on her own, so I do hope you will support her by tuning in.   She will be doing some great demonstrations and of course, there will be some fabulous Imagination Craft's products on the  program too.   On the  last program, everything sold out so quickly, so I would advise ordering early to prevent disappointment lol!

On to tonight's card, which I made with one of the beautiful rice papers, these papers are, I understand,  really very popular and I can understand that, as there are many images on each sheet so many cards can be made from each sheet, plus they are great for covering MDF projects, bottles, frames, cards etc.,

Matt a square of blue card onto the ivory 7"x7" base card, leaving a border of the ivory showing.   Cut out a slightly smaller piece of  cream card.   Spray the sunshine and light green Mixed Media Inks onto a work mat and add small amounts of the Jade Starlight paint.   Spray this with water, then swish the cream card through the inks, until you are happy with the results.   Leave this to dry.

Cut out and feather a piece of the no. 419 rice paper and using decoupage glue, cover the back of the rice paper and glue to the top right of the coloured card.   Matt this onto the base card.

Cut out one small butterfly and the large butterfly and glue these onto some white card, using the decoupage glue.   When dry, cut them out and glue them in position, on the base card, adding some silicone glue under their wings.

Stamp the words 'nature, 'beauty' and 'happiness.' on the bottom right, using a black ink pad.

Add three 'baby blue' Just Pearls to the top of the card and to the bottom right of the card.

Well that's it for tonight my Friends.   Thanks so much for stopping by my blog.   Enjoy the coming weekend and I will be back very soon with another project.   Be happy!

                                                                   Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Jennifer Johnston xx.
