Good Morning Peeps,
How are you all today? where did July go to lol!!! this year seems to be going by faster than usual. This morning I would like to share my project for the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog. The theme this month is 'Summer Holidays.' Before we know it the children will be back to school for the Autumn term, so we must enjoy this beautiful weather we are having at the moment as the Autumn is not far away.
The card I have for you this morning uses Imagination Craft's tropical sunset stencil. Ok here we go, let's get started. This is a quick and a simple card to make.
Make a base card from navy blue card stock. take some white card slightly smaller than the navy blue and round off the corners with the corner rounder punch. Matt this onto the navy blue base card.
Take some green card and the Memory Box circles die and put through a die - cutting machine, then glue down the right - hand side of the card.
Die - cut and emboss the border die (Marianne Design) and thread some yellow ribbon through the slots. Glue this on top of the green circles and add a ribbon bow.
Cut another piece of white card, again smaller than the previous white card and round off all four corners as before. Lay the stencil on top and dab some Versamark through the design, using a piece of cut n' dry foam. Remove the stencil and cover the design with white embossing powder. Shake off the excess powder and heat emboss with a heat gun. When dry, colour with the inks from the Kaliedacolour Ink pad -Riviera. Rub off any excess ink from the white embossing with a tissue (the ink will not dry on the surface of the embossing, this is known as the resist technique). Fix this to the base card. Well we are finished.
Would love you to join us in this challenge, you could win a voucher for £40 to spend on Imagination Craft's fabulous products. NB. only projects using Imagination Craft's products are eligible for the top prize of the £40 voucher, although non-Imagination Craft makes can get top 3 spots and there is a lovely badge for your blog. You still have time to enter this month's challenge, so why not give it a go! someone has to win, it could be you.
Please pop over to the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog to see more inspiration from the other members of the design team.
