Hi there Peeps,
Hope you managed to watch Imagination Craft's shows on Create and Craft today. Great shows with lots of fabulous techniques and demonstrations as always.
Tonight I have another card to share with you, which was shown on the show. It uses the very pretty little bird house decoupage stamp set, diamond stencil ( which is one of my many favourite background stencils). I have also used their stencil paints, brush and patterned card, all available from the Imagination Craft's website.
Make a base card from white card stock. Take a piece of lavender card and stamp some leafy stems down the right-hand side of the card, using a black ink pad. Glue this to the right half of the base card.
Take a piece of black card and lay the diamond stencil onto it and using the stencil brush, dab the stencil paints through the design. Remove the stencil and leave to dry. Trim down to approximately three and a quarter by five and a quarter inches and glue to the left-hand side of the base card.
Take the lilac summer scripr patterned card and stamp the birdhouse onto it using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder. Stamp the birdhouse again using the a black ink pad, onto white card.
Cut out the background of the image you stamped onto the patterned card. Matt this on top of the black and white image, using sticky foam pads.
Stamp the text 'Best Wishes' onto some lavender card using a black ink pad, then trim and matt onto a piece of white card, then black.
Glue this onto the base card and glue the birdhouse image on top. Colour the leaves, bird and parts of the birdhouse, using a white pen.
Add a white ribbon bow to the top chain of the birdhouse.
Thank you all once again for your lovely comments on my last blog and thank you for stopping by my blog today. I do hope you may have found some inspiration from my creations. See you all again very soon.
Love and rainbows,
Crafty Hugs Jennifer xx.

Lovely card. Can I ask what size the birdhouse stamp is please?
ReplyDeleteHello Susan, you certainly can Hun. The main image of the birdhouse is three and a quarter inch by three and a quarter inch. then there are three more smaller stamps in the set, a bird, a leaf stem and two greetings - Best Wishes and Happy Birthday. It can be used as a flat stamp or as I like to do, decoupage. Thanks for visiting. Do you have a blog I can visit in return Susan?
