In the Pink with Acetate

Good Saturday evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

No more snow thank goodness but wet and very windy.  We took our Grandson out today for lunch, a little bit of shopping  and we took him to see a working train set which he loved.     I even managed to wangle a visit to two craft shops as well today lol!   I bought a few new crafty things for my stash, can't wait to have a play with them!   Maybe tomorrow after washing and ironing our Grandson's school uniform ready for Monday, making sure he does his homework and the lunch of course,  then hopefully I shall have some fun time in my craft room  lol!

Tonight I have a card for you which I made in June last year for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's .  It was on the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog.   For this card I have used one of their many beautiful Decoupage Stamp Sets, Flourish stencil and Sparkle Medium.

Make a base card using maroon card stock.   Take a piece of grey paper, cut slightly smaller than the base card and put through an embossing machine along with the Flourishes stencil and emboss.

Cut a piece of acetate to the same size as the grey paper and lay the stencil onto it and spread the Black Stars Sparkle Medium over the stencil, using a metal spatuls.

Remove stencil and leave the image to dry.   When dry, glue to the grey paper where you think the glue won't show.   Die-cut a corner from white card using  the Tattered Lace corner die and glue it to the bottom left corner.

Glue a pink ribbon bow to the top left corner.

Stamp the decoupage daisy five times onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder.   Paint the larger and smaller flowers with a well diluted Red Satin  Silky.   When dry, 3D the flowers using silicone glue and fix to the right hand side of the card.

Well that's it finished, another quick and easy card to make.  I just love this 'Flourish'  stencil as it is so versatile and can be used as a background for many varied images.   Hope you all have a lovely Sunday.   Many thanks for stopping by my blog,  I hope you have enjoyed your visit and that you will pop back again.   See you all again very soon.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                               Crafty Hugs   Jennifer xx.
