Rainbow Fairy.

Hi there Peeps,

What a wet weekend, weather very dull amp and miserable up here in the hills and the forecast for the next few days appear to be no better !   Snow is a possibility in the Highlands of Scotland and maybe where we are later in the week.    Hope you've all enjoyed your weekend whatever you have been doing.

My card for tonight features one of my favourite subjects, fairies.   I have used the Imagination Craft's fairy stencil called  'Fairy Moon,'  and the 'Stars' stencil.

Make a white base card.   Cut a slightly smaller piece of red card and lay the 'Stars' stencil onto it.   Spread the silver Sparkle Medium over it.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.    Wrap some silver ribbon around the card and secure on the reverse.   Matt this onto the white base card.

     
Take another piece of white card, and a black ink pad and stamp the fairy text stamp over it until the card is all covered.   Next, colour the card with  distress inks, which will 'dull down' the black text, so it fades into the background.

    
Lay the 'fairy moon' stencil onto the now coloured  white card and spread the silver Sparkle Medium over the moon and faiy's wings and, whilst still wet, sprinkle  on the multi glitter mix and leave to dry.

When the silver has dried, lay the stencil back in position and spread the 'black stars' Sparkle Medium over the fairy and the present only.   Remove stencil and leave to dry.

    
Using the square scalloped die, cut out the fairy moon, leaving her legs outside of the die, before putting through the die-cutting machine   Matt the scallooped die-cut onto a piece of white card and glue to the base card.

   
Add two ribbon bows to the centre right edge of the card.    That's it finished, I do hope you like it.   Thank you so much for looking at my blog.   I do hope you may have gained some inspiration for your card making.
