A Rose for all Occasions.

Hi there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend is going well, despite the dreary weather!   I keep telling myself that Spring is around the corner and that makes me feel a whole lot better lol!   The little snowdrops have appeared  in the garden,  I do love snowdrops, one of the first signs of Spring.

Tonight I have a card to share with you which I made for the  Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V. channel  just recently.   This 'Shadow Rose' stamp is just so beautiful.    This is one Sue & Harvey have brought back and I'm so pleased they have, I worked with this  art stamp many years ago and I loved it then,  and I still do.   It can be used in so many ways, you just have to think outside of the box lol!   anyway I hope you like what I have done with this stamp,

Fold the light  cream card down the centre crease line, making an 8"x8" base card on which to work.   Matt a smaller piece of maroon coloured card onto the base card, leaving quite a large border of the cream base card showing.

Take a smaller piece of  cream hammered card and colour around all four  edges with  the Inca Gold and Bronze Alchemy Waxes.   Matt this onto the maroon card, leaving a small border of the maroon showing.

Take a smaller piece of maroon card and lay the Scallop Shell stencil on top, then spread the Ruby Gold Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

Wrap some  ribbon around the centre of the card,  securing on the back and matt this onto the cream card with the coloured edges.

Stamp the shadow rose onto a piece of the hammered cream card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with the aged scarlett embossing powder.   Colour the background with the Inca Gold and  Bronze  Alchemy waxes, then polish with a piece of tissue or kitchen roll.

Round off the corners of the shadow rose using a corner rounder punch  and matt onto a piece of maroon card, slightly larger than the shadow rose image.

Matt this onto the base card and add a ribbon bow to the right-hand side.   Glue 3 nail heads to each side of the base card and your card is finished.     Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, please pop back again.   Have a peaceful, relaxing Sunday.      See you soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                Big Hugs,  Jennifer xx.
