Hope you've had a good start to your week. Much better weather here today but still oh so cold lol! I just thought I'd slip in another quick card for you which I made for Imagination Crafts. back in August 2014. For this I have used their 'Birdsong' stencil which was on special offer on Imagination's latest show on the Hochanda TV channel recently. A lovely stencil which makes a quick effective card.
Make a base card from white card stock. Matt a smaller piece of black card onto the white. Trim a smaller piece of green card and matt onto the black, which will leave a small border of the black showing. Take a smaller piece of white card and colour with the distress inks, creating a sunset and green hills.
Lay the birdsong stencil on top of the coloured card and using the metal spatula, spread the Black stars Sparkle Medium over the design.
Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry. When dry, matt this image onto the green card, leaving a quarter inch border of the green card showing. This is a very quick and easy card to make and really, does not need any other embellishments, the picture says it all. A lovely evening sunset, filled with birdsong. Hope you like it. I'll be back soon. Stay warm and most of all be happy lol!
Love and rainbows,
Happy crafting, Hugs Jennifer xx.
This is so effective Jennifer, one of the reasons I love imagination stencils is that they speak for themselves, I'm not a big embellishment adder,a bit of ink and paste and you're done......hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteHi Tracey thanks for your lovely comment. I have to agree with you, I prefer not to use too many embellishments either lol! Appreciate your comment.
