Poppy Time.

Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Well here we are again lol, time for me to share another card with you all.   Hope your week has got off to a  good start.   The weather here has been a little better, no rain for once and with a little bit of sunshine every now and again.   The card I would like to share with you tonight was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts  for their recent shows on the Hochanda TV Channel.   They have re-introduced this stamp and I'm so pleased they have.   I worked with this stamp way back in 2006/2007.   I loved it then and still do now!  it is just so different.

Fold the cream card down the centre crease line, making an  8"x8" base card on which to work.   Cut a piece  of red card approximately 6"x6" and matt onto the centre of the base card.

Cut a smaller piece of grey card and lay the 'Jute' stencil onto it and spread the Ruby Gold Sparkle Medium over the design, using the metal spatula.   Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry.

In the meantime, stamp the poppies onto a piece of black card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.   Cut out a scalloped square, keeping the poppies in the centre, using the square scalloped Sizzix die.   Mat this onto a slightly larger square of the red card.

Matt the now stencilled grey card onto the red, then the poppies image, onto the grey card.

Using the left-over black card, after die-cutting the black scalloped square, cut it in half from one corner to the opposite corner, giving you two large corner pieces.   Glue one of these to the top left and one to the bottom right.

Glue 3 gemstones to the top right and bottom left corners. - Card finished.

Hope you like it.   See you all again a a few days.   Enjoy the rest of your week.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                Big hugs,   Jennifer xx.
