Hope you've all had a good day and are looking forward to the weekend, whatever you have planned. The weather does not sound good here, wet and windy lol! the only saving grace it is going to be a little warmer for a while, then it's back to more cold weather ! can't win lol at least the snow has gone. Thank you for visiting my blog. I would like to welcome my newest follower, I do hope enjoy your visits.
Tonight I have another card to share with you which I made for Imagination Craft's shows on the Hochanda T.V Channel on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. I do hope you were able to tune in. Five fabulous shows, so many great demos from Sue and the lovely Lisa B. So many 'sell outs' lol! I'm not in the least surprised lol! such great products. Looking forward to the next show, which I believe will be very soon. I will let you know in good time.
The card I have for you tonight was made using one on Imagination's newest stamps - 'Ballroom Dancers.' I just love this stamp, so.......different and it can be used in so many different ways.
Fold the card down the centre crease line, making an 8"x8" base card on which to work. Take a smaller piece of red card and lay the stencil onto it and spread some gold shine Sparkle Medium over part of the design on the bottom right hand corner, using the metal spatula. Repeat this on the top left corner of the red card. Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.
When dry, punch a hole in the top right and bottom left corners of the red card and fix a gold/pearl brad in each. Glue this card to the base card.
Take some white card and using a Versamark pad, stamp the dancers onto it, then heat emboss with black embossing powder. Cut around the design and round off all four corners, using the corner rounder punch. Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of gold mirror card, rounding off the corners again. Matt this onto the base card, at a slight angle.
Stamp the sentiment onto a piece of white card, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
Trim around the sentiment and matt onto a piece of black card, leaving a tiny border of the black showing. Glue this to the left of the dancers,
Well that's this card finished. Please don't forget that this is an 'art' stamp', so please do not worry if part of the background does not emboss, this adds to the 'arty' effect. As I am a stamper at heart, I will no doubt be using this beautiful stamp many more times. In future blogs I will show you some different ways to use it. Take care of yourselves and have a happy, safe and warm weekend. Until next time.
Love and rainbows,
Happy Crafting, Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
