'What a Hoot!'

Hello there Followers, Friends and Visitors,

Hope your weekend is going well so far.   We have not had the sunshine that was forecast  for  today but hopefully it may appear tomorrow.   I think it as been a little warmer though, which is nice.

I just thought I would fit in an extra post tonight.   This was made using  a cute little owl stamp from Woodware.

Fold the white ready creased card down the centre crease line, making a 6"x6" base card.   Cut a piece of magenta coloured card, slightly smaller than the base card and punch each corner, using the EK Success corner punch.   Cut a piece of patterned paper, smaller than the magenta card and stamp the owl image onto it, using a black ink pad.

    
Fix this image inside the the 4 punched corners, then wrap a narrow piece of white ribbon across the centre, securing on the back  of the magenta card.   Glue this to the white base card.   Add a white scalloped, die-cut circle to the left of the base card,   Stamp the owl once again but this time, onto some patterned paper and glue the image to the base card.

Stamp,  cut out and 3D  the rest of the owl, using different patterned papers but the same colour tone, using silicone glue.   Stamp the owl eyes onto white card in black ink and glue to the original image.

Stamp some leaves onto some darker patterned paper, cut out and glue to the original image.   Lastly, stamp 'what a hoot' and 'Thank you for sharing your wisdom' onto the card front, using black ink.   Add a white ribbon bow.
