Thought I'd just pop back tonight whilst I have the time lol! I would like to share a card with you, I made using a free stamp and embossing folder which came with a craft magazine I purchased, some time ago. The blue/white flowers were made using the paper cases from fresh cream, jam doughnut cakes (not both for me lol) they looked so delicate and pretty, I just couldn't throw them away lol! The cakes were delicious by the way lol! and I thought the flowers looked quite good, waste not want not !
Fold the white scalloped card down the centre crease line, making a 6"x6" base card on which to work. Colour the edges of the card with the seedless preserves distress ink.
Matt some patterned paper from Bo-Bunny, onto the base card, leaving the coloured scalloped edges showing.
Cut a piece of maroon card 5"x1" and glue a piece of lace across the front and secure with glue on the back. Glue this to the card front, just above the bottom of the patterned paper.
Take a piece of white card and stamp the lady with the mirror, onto it using a black ink pad. Colour parts of the image with the powder blue Promarker pen. Put this into the small square embossing folder and emboss.
Take out of the folder and colour the edges and the embossed design with the seedless preserves distress ink.
Matt this onto a slightly larger square of maroon card, then fix to the font of the base card,
Die-cut the flowers and 2 flourishes, using the Marianne design dies, and the cream cake paper cases. Using some of the patterned paper, make three roses and add to the centres of the blue flowers.
Glue the flourishes and flowers to the bottom left corner..
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and have a look and if you have left me a comment, thank you, I really appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of the week and I will be back with another creation using Imagination Craft's products very soon.
Love and rainbows,

Love the vintage look and such pretty colours. You'd never know you'd used cake cases but fits the look perfectly Hugs xxx
ReplyDeleteEvening Tracey, thank you so much. It just goes to show, you don't always need to buy expensive papers to make flowers lol! I just can't bear to throw things away!!!!
