Time again for me to share another card with you all. These days are just flying by, wish they would just slow down a little lol! not enough hours in the day! The card I would like to share with you tonight is a quick, easy card to make. I have used Imagination Craft's fabulous new Fabric Relief pastes - metallic red, orange and blue. I have also used their Dahlia stencil and the large Art stencil - perfume bottle no. AS-541. The fabric relief pastes are so easy to use and have a gorgeous sheen, plus they don't just have to be used on fabric, which is a bonus.
Matt a square of black card onto the 7" x 7" white base card, leaving a small border of the white showing. Next take a slightly smaller square of white card and lay the large Art stencil onto it, place the word 'LOVE' in the top right corner and blend some black ink through the letters, using a piece of cut 'n' dry foam or a blending tool.
Place the flourish part of the stencil in the bottom left corner and blend the black ink through the design. Matt this onto the black card.
Take some black card and lay the small dahlia from the medium/small Dahlia stencil onto it and spread the red Relief paste through the design, using the metal spatula. Remove the stencil and repeat again, using the blue relief paste and the orange, so that you have three flowers. Remove the stencil and leave the images to dry.
When dry, cut out each flower, leaving a narrow border of black around the edges. Fix these to the card front, using silicone glue, to add some dimension to the card.
Cut a half inch strip of white card and stamp the words 'Happy Birthday' using a black ink pad. Glue the word 'Happy' to the top left and 'Birthday' to the bottom right.
That's all from me for tonight, thank you so much for visiting my blog and thanks for the lovely comments on my last card, I do love to hear your feedback. Have a good Thursday and I will be back soon.
