Hope you all enjoyed your weekend. Yet another week has begun and a new month ! I wish time would stand still, just for a little while. The older I get, the faster the time seems to go by lol!
I would like to welcome my newest Follower, Janetannc, thanks so much for following my blog, I do hope you enjoy your visits.
I would like to share another card with you all. This was shown on Imagination Craft's ODS shows on the Hochanda T.V. Channel at the end of May this year. I have used the 'rectangles' stencil, Sparkle Mediums and Starlight paints. I have also used a stamp from my stash which I bought a few years ago by 'Only Words' which I think was an Oyster stamp, not sure though. If you cannot get this stamp, you could use another stamp you have in your stash, which has a similar sentiment.
Matt a square of lavender paper onto a 7"x7" ivory base card, leaving a border of ivory showing. Cut out a slightly smaller square of hammered light cream card and wrap a piece of lavender organza ribbon across the centre, securing on the reverse. Matt this onto the lavender paper.
On a spare piece of the hammered card, stamp the sentiment, using a Veramark pad and heat emboss with gold embossing powder. Matt this onto a slightly larger piece of lavender paper. Fix this on top of the ribbon.
Lay one of the rectangle designs from the stencil, onto a piece of light cream card and stipple the Starlight colours ( Lilac blue, Chartreuse, Lavender & Bright maroon) over the stencil, using a stencil brush or a piece of cut 'n' dry foam.
Add some Sparkle Medium over the design but I did not completely cover the Starlight paints, as I wanted both of these beautiful mediums to show up against each other (one glitters and the other sparkles!).
When dry, matt onto a piece of lavender paper, then matt onto the base card. Glue a ribbon bow to the centre of of the design.
Colour a piece of white card with the lilac blue and bright maroon Starlight paints. Die-cut three flowers from this, using the Sizzix flower die set and glue two to the rectangle and the other to the top right corner of the sentiment.
Glue three tiny pink gems to the top, just to the right of the rectangle ..............
and three to the bottom right of the base card.
Glue a pink heart to the centre of the letter 'O' in word 'Love.'
Well that's my card finished, hope you like it. I just love this sentiment. Have a good week and I will be back again quite soon.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
