Hope everyone is safe and well and you haven't had too much snow. Snow makes for beautiful Winter scenes but is not nice when you have to drive or work in it! We left home at 8am. this morning and the temperature was -7 degrees. It stayed that way until just after lunch, when it rose to the heady heights of -4 degrees lol! Fortunately the roads were clear. The sun actually came out for some time. I have to say the hills looked beautiful covered with snow. Well enough chit chat and onto tonight's card. This card was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Craft's in July this year. I have used their very pretty evening bag stencil along with Starlight paints, Structure Paste, Clear embossing pad and Detail Gold Embossing Powder.
Using a piece of white card, lay the evening bad stencil onto it. Stipple the green Starlight paint over the main part of the bag, the menthol on the lace and the antique gold on the metal bag clasp and dots, using the large stencil brush. Remove the stencil and wash it and the brush as soon as you can, as this paint dries very quickly and it may be more difficult to remove if left.
Return the stencil in the same position over the coloured bag image. Using the metal spatula, spread some Structure paste over the tassel only. Remove the stencil and leave the tassel to dry. Lay the stencil back onto the tassel and stipple some amethyst Starlight paint over the tassel only. Remove the stencil and cut out the bag.
Add some purple Stckles glitter glue to all the dots on the bag and strap.
Die-cut two corner pieces using the Intricut corner die from white card and paint with the Antique gold Starlight paint. Lay them in position, one top right and the other bottom left but do not glue in position yet. Mark where the words will be stamped with a pencil mark, so they will be on line with each other.
Remove the die-cuts and stamp the words with a clear embossing pad and heat emboss with the Detail Gold Embossing Powder.
Next glue the corners in position, using some Magi-bond glue.
Fix the bag 9n the centre of a 7" x 7" white base card, using sticky foam pads to add dimension to the card.
Die-cut and make 6 medium sized roses and two small ones from white card pained with watered down Amethyst Starlight paint, using the Sizzix dies. Roll them up and glue, then glue them to the top left and bottom right corners of the base card. Add a little amethyst Starlight paint (not watered down), to the petal edges.
Well that's it finished, hope you like it. Thank you for visiting my blog. Stay safe and warm, enjoy your week. I will be back again soon. Happy crafting
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx.
