Hi there everyone,
I thought I would just pop an extra post in tonight for you. What a beautiful day it has been again, hope it has been the same in your neck of the woods too! It is amazing what a little sunshine can do isn't it. Everything seems to look so much nicer.
The card I have for you tonight was made for Sue and Harvey way back in April of 2008. Gosh it seems a long time ago lol ! The Imagination Craft's stamp I have used on this card is, unfortunately no longer available but you could use any large flower stamp instead. The watering can shape was made using a Wendy Stenton template. The flowers were painted with Twinkling H2 O s and the clover leaf branch gold bead flowers were from Craft Creations.
Ok enough waffling, let's get started !
Cut out the watering can shape from duck egg blue card, using the template. Using the teal Stazon pad, stamp the spirals randomly all over the watering can. Using some cut 'n dry foam and the Stazon pad, rub around all the edges of the watering can.
Stamp one large flower and two medium flowers onto white card using a black Stazon pad and paint with the deep coral Twinkling H2o and the leaf of the larger flower in green.
When they are dry, cut them out. Take the gold bead flowers and glue in position on the base card. Fix the flowers in position using sticky foam pads. Put some gold glitter glue on the flower centres.
Stamp and colour the inside back page the same as the front so when the card is stood up, you can see the same pattern and colour as the front of the card.
You can shape the flower petals by bending them around a pencil which makes them look more realistic.
Well that is that, hope you like it. Hopefully we will all be needing watering cans soon to water our garden flowers when the weather gets warmer. The sun has been really quite hot today, maybe we are in for a very hot summer lol ! we'll just have to wait and see won't we. Well that's me, I'm logging off and going to bed lol ! as it is 11.15pm, which is early for me for a change. Have to be up early in the morning, housework etc., to do then I'm off to the hairdresser's to get my hair cut,
So until my next post be healthy and happy and enjoy the sunshine.
Love and rainbows,
Crafty Hugs, Jennifer xx
