A very good morning to all my lovely followers, friends and visitors,
Another early post from me today. It's that time again where I share my mid month inspiration creation. The theme for this month is 'Imagination in Bloom.' I really hope my creation will help to inspire you to join in with this challenge. If you own some Imagination Craft's products, do give it a try. Check out the Imagination Craft's Challenge Blog for details of how to enter. If you use Imagination Craft's products you could win a fabulous £40 voucher to spend at Imagination Crafts.. It's worth a try lol ! just think what you could buy with £40 !! and you get a lovely badge for your blog too.
Well onto my mid month creation, I hope you like this one. I have used the clematis stamp set from Imagination Crafts and I have used chalk pastels just for a change, to colour this card.
Make a base card from white card stock. Take some peach coloured paper, cut slightly smaller than the white card. Put the peach paper and the woodgrain stencil through an embossing machine and emboss it. Lay the stencil back onto the embossed peach paper and rub peach chalk pastels through the design.
Cut a piece of grey card, smaller than the white card and punch each corner with the EK Success corner punch. Cut the peach paper so it fits into the cut, punched corners of the grey card but first wrap some green ribbon across the centre of the peach card, securing on the reverse. Stamp the leaves around the edges and fix into the punched corners of the grey card. Fix this to the white base card and add a green ribbon bow to the left-hand side.
Stamp the clematis stamp five times onto white card using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder. Cut out the flowers and leaves only. Colour these with the pastel chalks.
Cut a white oblong and matt a smaller grey oblong onto the white and 3D the flowers onto the grey oblong, adding a small piece of white die-cut panel from Memory Box, to the bottom right-hand corner.
Cut out a grey oval and matt a smaller white oval onto the grey. Stamp 'Happy Birthday' onto the white oval, using a Versamark pad and heat emboss with black embossing powder. Fix this to the bottom left of the card.
Well that's my mid month creation. Thank you for stopping by to visit my blog, I really appreciate all your lovely comments. It is nice to know there are many like-minded people out there in blogland who just like to make cards and enjoy doing so. I hope my creations inspire you in some small way to enter this challenge. We look forward to seeing all your cards. You can check out more inspiration by my other team members here.
Have a great weekend, stay healthy and happy. See you all again in few days time.

Hi Kath, thank you very much hun. I thought I would use chalk pastels for a change and if I say so myself I was quite pleased with the end result, as you say it gives a gentle, delicate feel to the card.
