Another lovely day here in the hills. Managed to get more work done on my samples for Imagination Craft's next show on Create & Craft T.V. next month. Having a peaceful weekend as our Grandson is away and is due back tomorrow, so took the opportunity whilst it was quiet lol! Hope your weekend is going well too.
My card tonight is a blast from the past. This was made for Sue & Harvey of Imagination Crafts in 2011. For this card I have used a stamp set called Especially For You, which I sadly have to say, is no longer available. Any other similar stamps you may have could be used in their place and hopefully you will get the same results.
Make a base card from emerald green card and onto this matt a smaller piece of white card, leaving a border of emerald card showing. Next matt a smaller piece of purple paper onto the white.
Take a smaller piece of lilac card and punch all four corners using the EK Success corner punch.
Trim a piece of white card to fit inside the punched corners and stamp the leaf stem from the set onto it, forming a circle in the centre of the white card, using the Big and Juicy 'Happy Birthday' ink pad.
Stamp the flower head four times using the purple end of the ink pad onto white card. Colour these using Promarker pens, then cut them out. Glue one of them into the centre circle on the base card, then 3D the flower with the other images, using silicone glue.
Add green seed beads to the stamen on the flower and large holographic beads to the flower centre. Fix this white card into the punched corners and fix to the base card.
Add a green flower sequin to each corner of the white card and glue a purple seed bead to the centre of each sequin.
Glue a green satin bow to the top left corner and that's the card finished. Hope you have a relaxing Sunday and I'll be back again soon.
Love and rainbows,
Big Hugs Jennifer xx.
