Good evening Followers, Friends and Visitors,
Another dull and dreary day here for us today. Had our Grandson and his little friend around all day to play, so they were in and out between the showers all day. A little wet and muddy lol just typical little boys ! They ended up indoors playing Monopoly.
I would like to welcome my latest follower to join my blog, Zoe Russell, I do hope you enjoy your visits Zoe and thanks for joining.
The card I have to share with you tonight is made with another Imagination Craft's Art Deco Lady stencil. Begin by folding the ready creased white card in half, down the centre making a 7"x7" base card. Matt some black card then some striped paper onto the base card, each time leaving a border showing.
Die-cut 2 large ovals, one lime green and the other black. Matt these onto the striped paper, the green one across the card and the black, top to bottom.
Take the rose patterned paper and lay the stencil on top and draw around the design using a pencil on the plain side of the paper. Cut out each individual piece and glue in the correct position as per the stencil. She will of course face the opposite way, when you look at the patterned side of the paper. So, decide which way you would like her to face, then flip the stencil over onto the white side of the paper.
Mix a tiny amount of antique rose Sparkle Medium with some Sparkle Gel for her face, neck and arm. Lay the stencil back on the black oval and carefully spread the Sparkle Medium over these parts. Remove the stencil and leave to dry. Cut out her bag from another piece od paper and glue in position.
Die-cut 3 roses from striped paper and roll up and glue to the left-hand side. Punch 3 leaves from lime green card and glue these under the roses.
Die-cut the tag from lime green card and glue a piece of the patterned paper to the front. of the tag. Stamp 'Good friends' sentiment onto the tag using a black ink pad and add a pearl and a tiny punched butterfly to the top of the tag. Fix the tag to the base card using sticky foam pads, for a little dimension. Last of all, glue a pink ribbon bow to the top of the tag.
Thank so much for visiting my blog, I just love to share my creations with other like minded people. Take good care of yourselves and I'll be back again soon, hope you will be too!
