Acetate Butterflies.

Good evening Lovelies,

Quite a nice day here  today I'm pleased to say,  it did rain during the night but I  don't mind the rain during the night as long as the day is good lol!   Hope your day has been nice too,

My card for tonight  features butterflies, which I love and I think the majority people like them too, so pretty and such lovely colours.   This was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in September 2014.

Make a white base card and matt a smaller piece of black card onto the white, then a smaller piece of white onto the black.

Take a piece of acetate and colour one side with alcohol inks, using a blending tool.   When dry, glue this to the white card with the alcohol ink side,  down-over.

Cut a strip of white card approximately two and a quarter inches by  four and three quarter inches.   Die-cut two corner dies from white card a and glue down  each side of the white panel, then glue the panel down the centre of the card.   Using a black pen, draw little dashes around the edge of the white panel.

Using the smaller butterfly stamp from the set, stamp it three times onto a piece of white card, using a black Stazon pad and cut them out.

Stamp another three butterflies using a black Stazon pad, onto a piece of acetate which has been coloured as before.

Cut out the wings only and glue onto  the white butterflies.   Add some gold Detail Sparkle to their bodies and wings.

Glue the butterflies to the white panel.   Add four dots of gold Detail Sparkle to the white pabel.

This card is now finiahed,    Alcohol inks give a lovely effect.   I really must get them out more often lol!   Thank you all for visiting my blog, hope you have enjoyed your visit.   That's all for tonight, see you all again in a couple of days.

                                                                  Love and rainbows,

                                                                    Hugs   Jennifer xx.
