Hello Lovelies,
How are you all ? well I hope, if not here's a big hug lol. Hubby is watching the football, so I thought I would write up my blog post for tonight. The card I have for you tonight was made for Sue and Harvey of Imagination Crafts in February 2012 and uses their beautiful gold shine sparkle medium and their daisy flourish border stencil. Hope you like it. This is quite a quick card to make. Ok. so let's get started.
Make a base card from some brown card stock, landscape style. Take some patterned brown paper and lay the stencil on top and spread the gold sparkle medium over the stencil using a palette knife. Remove the stencil and leave the image to dry naturally. Matt this onto some white card and colour the edges with walnut stain distress ink using a blending tool. Matt this onto the brown base card.
Cut out the flower using a die-cutting machine and the Marianne Die. Glue to the centre of the stencilled image, add some sparkle medium to the flower centre and add a pearl to the centre. Next cut out six of the Spellbinders flourish dies from the patterned paper and glue around the flower.
Put a strip of double sided sticky tape down the right-hand side of the card. Remove the release paper and 'pleat' the ribbon from the top to the bottom of the card. Add four ribbon bows.
Cut four of the Spellbinders square die shapes and colour with the walnut stain ink. Cut each one in half and glue to each side of the pleated ribbon. Add a ribbon bow to the top left of the base card.
Well that's it folks, finished. Thank you all for visiting my blog, please feel free to be a follower by clicking on the Google Friend Connect button at the top of my blog. Have a great few days until my next post. See you all then.
Love and rainbows,
Hugs Jennifer xx
