Butterflies, Butterflies, Butterflies.

Hi there Followers, Friends and visitors,

Hope you've all had a good start to the week.   Weather yesterday was quite nice, sunny and bright skies just for a change but it has rained on and off most of  today !   Roll on the Spring.   My snowdrops have popped their pretty little heads up and some other bulbs I have in the garden are growing quite fast.

Well onto today's card, something associated  with warmer weather lol,  butterflies !   for my card today I have used  Imagination Craft's  Butterfly Dots Embossable and the Butterfly Curls Border Stencil.      I also used Blue Moonstone, Mink, Hunter Green and Lavender Sparkle Mediums which really gives that WOW! effect without too much effort lol.   Ok. let's get cracking !

Make a base card from lilac card.   Take a piece of lemon card and lay the butterfly embossable onto it.   Mix all the sparkle medium colours together until well blended, then spread over the embossable with the spatula.   Leave to dry.

When dry, fix some ribbon across the centre and secure on the reverse with sticky tape and fix this to the base card.   Cut out a large scalloped oval from lilac card and glue to the centre.   Cut out and emboss a slightly smaller scalloped oval from lemon card using an embossing machine and the butterfly dots embossable.   Glue this on top of the lilac oval.

Take a piece of lemon card and using the butterfly curls stencil, spread the sparkle medium mix over the butterflies - make six butterflies in total.   Leave to dry, then cut out the butterflies and lay them out in a position you like best.   Next, glue them in place on the front of the card.   Add some lilac gems to the lemon oval and the heads of the butterflies.   Lastly glue a bow to the centre of the butterfly pattern.    I made this pattern with the butterflies but if you play around with the butterflies a little you can make many different designs.   Well that's it finished, I do hope you like it.   Thank you so much for visiting my blog.   Until my next post, have a good week and stay safe and above all, be happy.   See you all soon.

                                                                 Love and rainbows,

                                                                  Big  Hugs   Jennifer xx.
